A Valley Chef is celebrating her birthday by raising funds for the Palm Springs Animal Shelter.

Chef Tanya Petrovna is turning 50 years old on June 15 and is holding the fundraiser at Native Foods.  The event is being held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the restaurant, located at 1775 E. Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs.

Customers will be given complimentary appetizers and be able to purchase beer and wine for just 50 cents.  Those interested in attending are asked to donate anything from $1 to $1 million.

From 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., shelter supporters can purchase dinner at Native Foods with a percentage of the sale going to the new Palm Springs Animal Shelter.

If you would like to attend the fundraiser, please RSVP by calling (760) 416-0070.
