Two local resorts will attempt be a part of the unique record Saturday, as they try to get the most skinny dippers in a pool at one time, nationwide.
Living Waters Spa in Desert Hot Springs and Desert Sun Resort in Palm Springs are both taking part in the nudist event.
The challenge is sponsored by the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR), and is a collaborative effort of 122 resorts nationwide trying to get the most naked people in pools at once.
Last year, 13,648 people participated in the skinny dip, and the AANR is hoping to break their own record this year.
