The 15th annual Jim Cook Day of Hope for Diabetes, is Saturday in Rancho Mirage.
It's the largest educational and inspirational event of its kind in the 11 western United States.
The public is invited to the free event, sponsored by Eisenhower Medical Center and the Desert Diabetes Club.
The Jim Cook Day of Hope for Diabetes, which includes a product fair showcasing the latest technology and treatments for persons with diabetes, will be held at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower from 8 a.m. to 4p.m.
