Two Car Accident Sends Three to the Hospital

Police are looking into what happened after a car accident sent three people to the hospital Saturday.

The accident happened at the intersection of Fred Waring and Portola in Palm Desert around 2:40 pm.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident, one car had two people inside and the other car had just the driver.

Palm Desert police say the cause of the accident is under investigation, but they do not believe alcohol was involved.

All three people were sent to Desert Regional Medical Center to be treated for minor to moderate injuries.
