A man who was found shot dead in an Indio driveway this week was murdered, police said Wednesday.
Matthew Lamar Roberts, 28, was found shot in the chest in his own driveway by family members early Tuesday morning, according to Ben Guitron of the Indio Police Department.
The man lived in the 43400 block of Burr Street, near Jefferson Street and Fred Waring Drive, according to Guitron.
Police have yet to indicate if they have any suspects in the case. The case remains under investigation.
