A tractor-trailer carrying cars was among the vehicles involved in a chain-reaction crash on the southbound Temecula Valley (15)
Freeway in Temecula Monday, authorities said.
It was unclear if anyone was hurt in the wreck just north of Temecula Parkway, reported at 9 a.m., authorities said. Traffic was backed up as as far
north as the I-15 split with the Escondido (215) Freeway.
The far right lane was blocked to allow emergency vehicles access to the crash site, the CHP reported.
Five vehicles needed towing following the crash, the CHP reported.
