We have too many laws that put too many people in prison for too many years. They are bankruptuing California. Of course we want to keep citizens safe from those sex offenders who are sexual predators or child molesters. But, we already have laws for that. It must be election year. The preverts are being dragged out as examples of why the politicians want to be known as tough-on-crime regardless of how much money and how many salvageable lives their dumb-on-crime policies waste.

Our Palm Springs City Counsel has been besieged over a 6 month period by local citizens and National Organizations asking it to do its due diligence regarding the Rosser Rodeo. Despite a long documented history of Animal Abuse and the desire of many who don't feel this is right for a progressive city like Palm Springs, the Counsel has responded to no one, shirking its duties to bring up and evaluate its citizens concerns. One Naional Organization having heard of the Counsel's Political ties to the event and uneven concern for a large percentage of people opposed to the event sent damming information to each Counsel Member by Fax, E-mail, and Snail Mail. It received not one response from any counsel member. Let's start to think about who we are going to elect next time to replace those that will accept even blood money to bring ANYTHING to Palm Springs.

West Shores High School needs to be shut down. There is a lack of education. The teachers and staff are doing a dishonor to these students. My child attended West Shores High for only a couple of months, it was one of the worst experiences and became behind in her schooling. We decided to enroll our child in a charter school based in Borrego Springs. This charter school has done so much for my daughters self-esteem and her educational goals. I think it would be so much more beneficial to have this school become a charter school and have a more demanding curriculm. These children attending West Shores will have an education of about a 3rd grader. Do these children some justice and give them a chance to have a decent education.

What's the date?

Hopefully there is a good volunteer group at local animal shelter that helps these neo-natal kitties. Unfortunately this is not uncommon as many shelters do have a neo-natal foster program because of people that do this to unwanted kittens.
