Jack Leonard Houston, who was profiled last week on KPSP Local 2's Wheel of Justice has been captured in Riverside County.
Murrieta police caught up Tuesday with the suspect wanted in a non-fatal stabbing at a Murrieta bar last month.
Jack Leonard Houston, who's suspected of stabbing a man several times in the chest and knee, had been on the run since March 18.
The 34-year-old suspect-- who was featured earlier this month on KPSP's Wheel of Justice segment-- was caught in Lake Elsinore Tuesday afternoon following a short chase, with the assistance of a sheriff's special enforcement unit.
The Alleged Crime
Jack Houston and his friends were at the Corner Pocket Bar in Murrieta celebrating St. Patrick's Day when Houston picked a fight with a man at the bar, according to police. Security escorted Houston outside, but he tried to attack the man again, police said.
A man and woman then intervened. Houston allegedly stabbed them both with a folding pocket knife. The man was stabbed several times in chest and left knee. He was treated at a hospital for his injuries and has since been released. The woman suffered minor injuries.
Houston has a lengthy criminal history and was recently discharged from parole.
