UPDATE: Palm Springs police have arrested a man in connection with a murder that happened Saturday afternoon.
Police say 47-year-old Dale Farquhar was arrested on suspicion of murder at around 2:45 a.m. Sunday morning without incident at the Palm Springs Villas complex where he lives.
Farquhar is being held at the Indio jail in leiu of $1 million bail and is scheduled to appear in Indio court on Thursday, November 19, according to court records.
Palm Springs police also says the 57-year-old victim, Larry Roger Fisk, suffered at least one fatal gunshot wound.
Stay with KPSP Local 2 as we learn more about this developing story.Original story as follows:Just after 2pm on Saturday afternoon, Palm Springs Police responded to reports of a "man down" in the 600 block of Ashurst Court in the Palm Springs Villas condominium complex.
When police got to the scene, they found a dead white male outside of a second story unit.
According to a PSPD press release, there appeared to be trauma to the man's body so the police are treating the death as a homicide.
