A fire in Desert Hot Springs left one family displaced Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out at a home in the 73 11:00 p.m. Monday night. Firefighters arrived on scene quickly and were able to contain the blaze to the attic. Firefighters tell KPSP that the roof could have collapsed if they arrived just 5 minutes later.
No one was hurt from the fire. American Red Cross will take care of the family until firefighters say it's safe to return to their home.
