It's time now for neighborhood crimetracker.
Every Thursday at 6 on Local 2 we look at some of the property crimes valley police departments are working.
We begin in Desert Hot Springs where Police Chief Pat Williams and officers are investigating a number of daytime home burglaries. On the 13900 block of Julian Drive, entry was gained through a bedroom window. Among the items taken, flat screen television, a playstation 3, and video games.
Another home was entered, again through a bedroom window, on the 13700 block of Hacienda Heights drive. A wedding ring, watch and cell phone stolen.
And a bedroom window smashed out on a home on the 11400 block of Foxdale Drive. a flat screen television was taken.
Over to Palm Springs we go next on crimetracker. Chief David Dominguezs' team was working a burglary at a hotel. On the 1600 block of north Indian Canyon Drive, someone managed to get into two locked conference rooms and stole audio-visual equipment.
We head over to Cathedral City now on crimetracker. Someone managed to get into a home on the 31000 block of Avenida Valdez through a side window, electronics were taken.
And a vehicle was broken into on the 69000 block of Garner, a car stereo taken here.
And we wrap up this week's crimetracker in Rancho Mirage. Hope this guy wasn't at your Super Bowl party Sunday night.
37 year old Kerry Cosgrove of Indio was arrested last week after walking into the bar area at Rancho Las Palmas , 41000 Bob Hope, and assaulting staff with liquor bottles. He faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a peace officer, and burglary.
