Every week we look at some of the property crimes valley police departments are working. We begin in Indio this week.

Indio police spokesperson Ben Guitron tells KPSP tagging continues to be a problem. The most recent grafitti find, along walls near the Coachella valley storm channel wash and Indio Boulevard bridge, which is just south of the I-10. Police said it is done late at night.

Let's head to La Quinta now. Commercial burglary at the Target store, on 78935 Highway 111.
Two women were arrested for stealing from the store and they used small children to help.
Police said the women jammed items off shelves into the back packs of toddlers ages three, four and five.

And we wrap up Crimetracker this week in Palm Springs, where it will be very difficult, in fact, impossible to recover the items stolen by one thief from the Albertsons store at 1700 n. Sunrise Way.

The man, still being sought, carried a package of sirloin steaks out of the store, apparently hidden in his clothing.
