Hundreds of people came together to raise awareness and money at the 12th annual Hike 4 Hope on Sunday.
Guides from the Coachella Valley Hiking Club supported by Palm Springs mounted police search and rescue led participants on hikes through the beautiful Indian Canyons.
With ten different paths, ranging from one to ten miles, one thousand participants signed up for this year's event and laced up their boots to hike for the same cause-- to support women's cancer research.
Despite a gloomy day, the canyons were filled with bright colors of pink for cancer awareness.
KPSP Local 2 team members took the Victor trail hike and later assembled at the trading post gathering to hand out t-shirts, water and snacks.
Another great turnout where 96% of money raised goes directly to City of Hope's efforts to fight women's cancer.
