Indian Wells Chamber of Commerce announces the annual Health & Wellness Series 2012 event to focus on prostate cancer and benefits Gilda’s Club Desert Cities. Besides many activities planned for the day, KPSP Local 2 News Anchor, Kris Long will emcee the dinner event with special guest Coach Tom Flores.

Diamonds for the Arts from Bach to Broadway - March 9th
The 58th Diamonds are Forever Scholarship Benefit will be hosted by KPSP Local 2's Chief Meteorologist Patrick Evans. The luncheon honors Carol Channing and Virginia Waring for making a difference for children and the arts.

Desert Charity Bachelor Auction - March 17th
KPSP Local 2's Chief Meteorologist Patrick Evans and Morning Show Anchor Todd Piro will emcee the 4th annual Desert Charity Bachelor Auction that kicks off Fashion Week El Paseo on March 17th, 2012. The goal this year at the event is to raise $100,000 to benefit Shelter From The Storm.

Polo for Paws
Even though there were no polo matches for the event, a great attendance for the fundraiser, emceed by Todd Piro and Stella Inger, helped benefit the Humane Society of the Desert.

Humana Challenge
Bob Hope's legacy continued as Humana worked with the PGA Tour. While taking a new focus on healthy lifestyle practices, the Humana Challenge honored and celebrated the legacy of Bob Hope and his longtime role as tournament host. KPSP Local 2 was proud to be part of this event.

Pegasus Riders Award Luncheon - December 18th

It is rated as one of the top 10 “All-American Food Festivals” in the nation. KPSP Local 2 was on hand at the festival that kicked off the holiday season to bring the entire community together.
