Christopher's Clubhouse Light of Hope Awards Gala - February 4th
KPSP Local 2 Morning Anchor Todd Piro will emcee a fun-filled evening to bring awareness to the valley about safety education for children and their families to prevent crimes against them at Christopher's Clubhouse Light of Hope Awards Gala.

Palm Springs Pathfinders 2012 Gala - February 18th
KPSP Local 2 Chief Meteorologist Patrick Evans emcees this year's Palm Springs Pathfinders' "The Love of the Children" Gala Event to help raise funds to support the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs and Pathfinder Ranch.

Health & Wellness Series - February 18th
Indian Wells Chamber of Commerce announces the annual Health & Wellness Series 2012 event to focus on prostate cancer and benefits Gilda’s Club Desert Cities. Besides many activities planned for the day, KPSP Local 2 News Anchor, Kris Long will emcee the dinner event with special guest Coach Tom Flores.

Palm Desert Charter Middle School Career Day - February 29th
6th and 7th grade students will hear presentations about a variety of fascinating careers, including the job of being a television anchor here in the Valley.

Firestone Award Benefit - March 2nd
KPSP Local 2's Todd Piro emcees the Firestone Award Benefit, a fundraiser that will help ABC Recovery Center's Perinatal Program.

Walk To End Alzheimer's - March 3rd
KPSP Local 2 Meteorologist Jenifer Daniels will emcee the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The event that helps raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research.

Diamonds for the Arts from Bach to Broadway - March 9th
The 58th Diamonds are Forever Scholarship Benefit will be hosted by KPSP Local 2's Chief Meteorologist Patrick Evans. The luncheon honors Carol Channing and Virginia Waring for making a difference for children and the arts.

Le Chien: A Celebration of Dogs and Fashion - March 17th
What is Le Chien? – it's French for dog! KPSP Local 2's Morning Anchor and dog lover Todd Piro helps kick off this event for Fashion Week on El Paseo.

Desert Charity Bachelor Auction - March 17th
KPSP Local 2's Chief Meteorologist Patrick Evans and Morning Show Anchor Todd Piro will emcee the 4th annual Desert Charity Bachelor Auction that kicks off Fashion Week El Paseo on March 17th, 2012. The goal this year at the event is to raise $100,000 to benefit Shelter From The Storm.

20th Annual Senior Inspiration Awards - March 30th
Brooke Beare and Patrick Evans serve as emcees for the annual event that recognizes seniors over the age of 70 who are role models for all ages.

Day at the Races Fashion Show Luncheon - March 31st
The odds are in your favor that you’ll have a great time at the 2012 Day at the Races Fashion Show Luncheon benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Desert with emcee Jenifer Daniels.

Polo for Paws
Even though there were no polo matches for the event, a great attendance for the fundraiser, emceed by Todd Piro and Stella Inger, helped benefit the Humane Society of the Desert.

Humana Challenge
Bob Hope's legacy continued as Humana worked with the PGA Tour. While taking a new focus on healthy lifestyle practices, the Humana Challenge honored and celebrated the legacy of Bob Hope and his longtime role as tournament host. KPSP Local 2 was proud to be part of this event.

KPSP Local 2 Toy Drive

Pegasus Riders Award Luncheon - December 18th
Kris Long hosted this year's event where Pegasus Disabled Riders were awarded Olympic-style medals for “their courage in riding for recovery" and for their horsemanship performed during therapy and participation

Athena Awards - December 13th
It is a distinguished honor which pays tribute to women who demonstrate excellence and creativity in their business or in the community.

International Tamale Festival
It is rated as one of the top 10 “All-American Food Festivals” in the nation. KPSP Local 2 was on hand at the festival that kicked off the holiday season to bring the entire community together.
