Vista Chino "at the Wash" has been flooded multiple times when it rains and is frequently shut down in these cases.
UPDATE 3:52 PM 02-08-10: All roads were back open in the city of Palm Springs, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.

"Thank you for your continued patience as road crews worked to open the last of the roadways that were closed due to flooding," said officer Melissa Desmarais of the Palm Springs Police Department.  "Motorists are encouraged to continue driving safely."

Weekend rain throughout the Valley has left one major road closed on Monday.

Vista Chino at the Wash between Gene Autry Trail and the city limits of Cathedral City is closed.

Indian Canyon Drive south of Interstate 10 was opened up Monday morning, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.

Gene Autry between the I-10 and Vista Chino has also since been re-opened.

Police are encouraging you to slow down when you see flooded areas.
