Cell phone companies and banks are just two of the top industries that received the most complaints in 2009 according to the Better Business Bureau.
The BBB released its list Tuesday of the nearly 1 million complaints it received in 2009. Cell phone services and equipment topped the list with more than 37,000 complaints.
Banks saw the greatest increase in complaints in 2009, likely because of the recession and the failure on Wall Street. Despite numerous recalls by automakers, complaints in regards to auto dealers decreased in 2009.
The BBB files all complaints, no matter what the topic. Some of the oddest complaints made in 2009 were about rodeos, square dance callers, puppets/marionettes and baton twirling instruction.
