Palm Springs police will host free memory screenings for area residents on Tuesday, as part of National Memory Screening Day.
The memory screenings -- a step toward a proper diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease -- will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Palm Springs Police Department Training Center, 200 Civic Drive, said Sgt. Mitch Spike.
