If you missed the electric vehicles in front of Palm Springs City Hall Wednesday, you have another chance to see them Thursday.

The entire Coachella Valley is invited to join the Sustainability booth on Thursday, Oct. 22 at VillageFest.

Beginning at 6 p.m., stop by the Office of Sustainability’s booth on the north side of the festival along Palm Canyon Drive in front of NYPD Pizza. Residents will have an opportunity to check out an electric car, pick up a free water aerator and enter a raffle to win a 14" Sola-Tube with installation from Renova Energy -- who will be on hand displaying solar energy options and providing free LED pocket lights.

In addition, officials from the Desert Water Agency, Southern California Edison, Palm Springs Disposal, and members of the City’s Green Team and Sustainability Commission will be available to meet residents and discuss green initiatives.

"I encourage everyone with an interest in sustainability and the future of Palm Springs to join us for a fun and educational night at VillageFest this Thursday," said Sustainability Manager Michele Mician. "Palm Springs is going green and we hope everyone gets involved."

For more information, call the Office of Sustainability at (760) 323-8214.
