County Health Officials Encourage People to Get H1N1 Vaccines
Many people in the valley Tuesday night they were not as worried about swine flu as they once were just a couple months ago..
Debra Santibañez, a Riverside County Family Care Center Regional Manager encourages those who are not vaccinated to consider it. Santibañez said, "It's there. It's available. We're not going to run out of it anytime soon it would be a sad situation if it expired when it could be saving lives."
With tourists coming in and out of the Coachella Valley from places that do experience outbreaks, Santibañez said Coachella Valley residents are susceptible.
Free H1N1 flu shots are available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Riverside County Fair in the Taj Mahal Building.
