Free H1N1 vaccines will be given Saturday at the Black History Expo in Riverside and the Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival in Indio.
The flu clinic in Riverside is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the downtown pedestrian mall between 10th Street and Mission Inn Boulevard, public health spokesman Sean Nealon said.
The clinic at the Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Taj Mahal Building. To get vaccinated, people must pay to get into the fair, Nealon said.
About 2,575 confirmed and probable cases of the H1N1 virus have been reported in Riverside County since April, and 41 people have died from complications, according to county health officials.
The vaccine is also available for free at the county's 10 family care centers, which are located in Banning, Corona, Hemet, Indio, Jurupa, Lake Elsinore, Palm Springs, Perris Riverside and Rubidoux.
